?Make love?;/?
A question from a reader: I hate hate hate when people say i made love with whoever
who decided that make love is a synonym for sex!!!!!! if you are in love with someone didnt you 2 make love by falling in love? and if your not in love and your just using “make love” to make it sound batter then we did it or whatever you say. So would make hate be considered break up or rough sex ?
the word sex can be used in a meaningful way

“mading love” is more a term used when two people are in a commited relationship and are physically expressing their love for one another. This is ment to be used when the sex is VERY meaningful
While on the other hand, sex is more just a meaningless act.
not being mean.. but why did you post this? take this up with your friends or random people on the street. This is for people who need answers to their questions.
The ultimate end of love is having sex!
I know what you’re saying.I know a guy that is 47 years old that says I made love to such and such person last night even though it was just a one night stand, he says that instead of saying I had sex with “Betty” last night. It drives me crazy too, everyone that say make love instead of had sex needs to grow up and live with the reality that it was sex.
I hate that too. I extremely agree with you on this subject.
its just a simple way of saying we kissed did all that stuff but we didnt have sex! so i think u can figure it out from that point.
‘Make love’ was prob used in the old days when only people who loved each other had sex. Doesnt really apply these days as almost every man and his dog is having sex…hahaha tht sounds so wrong – but you know what i mean
When one fall in love with someone, there is no appeal for sex, but when they get close love demand sex.
From what you wrote i can only guess that you have never been in love or ‘made love’. I would say there is a difference between sex and ‘making love’. Sex is seedy and ‘making love’ isn’t. When people have sex there only goal is to get off, but ‘making love’ there is no goal because your already doing it(being the nearest possible to your partner). It all sounds like mushy slush and I’m not a mushy person, but i would choose to ‘make love’ instead of sex any day.
rough sex
There are a lot of people who don’t know how to use words and they say “make love” when they mean sex. Sometimes people use 2 for the word two also. Some people…….
`Making love` is what 2 people in a committed relationship do. It is an expression of the love they feel for each other and includes the feelings of love, not just the act of sex. It is deeper and more meaningful, it involves the mind as well as the body. It is more than just sex which is an act, it doesn`t always rely on feelings and can happen with anyone.
If you have never `made love` then you will not understand the difference.
Making love and having sex can be completely different things. My fiancee and I made love on our second date by holding hands while sitting on the deck on an amazing evening. We hardly talked, just shared an affectionate moment. The only part of her I touched was her hand and her cheek when I kissed her goodnight. (also got a hug…)
Making love isn’t about intercourse. It’s not about even being naked. It’s sharing a very close moment with someone special.
